A beautiful 100miles!

100miles...it's not that far!  Well so Karl Meltzer says!  The weekend just gone would be the next tester and a head to about the last six months of training.

Tegan, the girls and I went down to the Glasshouse Mountains on Friday and on the way met up with Andrew and his family, the owners of At One Foods (https://www.facebook.com/AtOneFoods).  What a beautiful family!  We spent some time with them and heard their story of the company and how they got where they are.  Such an inspirational story and a quality product!  I suggest you all jump onto Facebook, contact Andrew and order some awesome raw bars!  Yum!  I stocked up for the race and we were on our way.

The calm before the business!
When we arrived it was unpack, relax and hang out with the family before briefing.  My sister and grandma were also up so it was great to see them!  We did our stuff, went to briefing, had a good time catching up with all the crew at Beerburrum School and then head home to get some sleep before the big day.

Smiling all day.
After some broken sleep it was up at 3:40am, got sorted and down to the school again to get goin!  After some last minute instructions by Ian (race director) and some final mental games, it was go time.  With nervous energy and massive excitement we were off!  Andrew (my Wide Bay Fat Ass partner in crime) and I had organised to run a while together and see what happened (he was doing the 100k).  It was awesome to have some company and we completed the first 10k together.  After a quick blow through the school we were up and down Mt Beerburrum and then on our way.

Selfies with some mountain.
Stop eating Andy, we gotta run!
Things started off very cruisy.  Andrew and I had a great time chatting, enjoying the weather and the awesome views along the way...even taking some time for some selflies!  It was great to have his company and someone to chat with starting the day.  We hit a few brutal parts in the track but still maintained a good pace, not stopping long at the aid stations....although when we did, having a good laugh at Andy's crew...a couple of mates who had a different outfit at each stop and provided some great laughs along the way!  We worked through some tough sections and made our way toward to Checkpoint 8.  Andy was feeling good and pulled a little ahead however the Grills caught back up and by Checkpoint 8 we were together again.  I had lost 5kg already and whilst not hot or really suffering couldn't suck back any more fluid even though I was trying!  We made our way through the Western loop together before he headed back toward home and I continued on my miler journey.

Yep, that's my dad!
I ran alone for about 20k and got in a really good routine of power hiking hard any uphills and running the downs and flats.  I went back and forward with a couple of blokes, one of which was goin on about not running cause he wasn't as young as me.  He kept going on about it and I was a bit over it, so I give him a bit of stick about my dad being 58 and doing the miler.  Basically telling him to stop whinging!  This quietened him down a bit and I left him and his complaining behind!

After this time on my own, I ran into Dion, a mate from previous ultras at the Glasshouse Mountains.  He and his mate Lee are always a good laugh and we all seem to run a similar speed (we ended up finishing 7th, 8th and 9th!)  Dion was doing the hard yards and had been spewing a bit along the way.  I stuck with him, told him my plan for the day and we stayed near by for a while.  I must have separated from him for a bit but then met up with him again at Checkpoint 5, just as it was coming on dark.  From there we stuck together and worked hard.  We ran well back to the School and reached that point (108km) by 7:10pm.  We had a quick feed, caught up with our families and then were off again without mucking around too long.

Fun and games!
Gold!
From here, things went pretty un-eventful.  We ran over to Wildhorse Mountain checkpoint and went straight up and down the mountain.  Again we saw our crews before getting going.  I had started to feel pretty sick by this stage and I think it had a fair bit to do with eating too much sweet stuff.  I wanted to spew for about 3-4hours but didn't.  I kept shuffling along, sticking to our power hike/run plan.  I stopped with the sweet food, got on some plain stuff and slowly but surly came good.

The loops over on the Eastern section of the course are sandy...to say the least.  Overall, the tracks are much flatter and runable but the sand is a killer!  We battled through and Dion started doing it a little touch again.  By the time we did the second loop out the Eastern side though, he got a second wind and I had to haul ass to keep up with him!  We got back to Checkpoint 9 at maybe 1am, were pumped and ready to go.

One of the ladies at the Checkpoint told me I had to take a shirt with me incase I got tired and cold.  I tucked a thin cotton shirt into my shorts and ran off.  Tegan and the girls drove past us about 500m down the road and the shirt was annoying me so I just threw it in the car!  Gold!  In all the fun though, Dion and I weren't paying attention and missed a turn off into the bush.  We kept running, realised we missed the turn and turned back.  We found where we went wrong but ended up running maybe 2k extra.  Dion was a bit cranky but you gotta roll with the punches so we smashed on.

Buy this stage of the race we were doing some math in our heads and realising we can do a decent time.  We kept with our plan and were going well.

We got back to Wildhorse again, up and down and after a quick feed with our support crews got going.  We took off with the finish line in our sights, kind of!!  We only had 12.5km to go and we were on a flippen mission!  We ran hard, well as hard as I could after about 150km!  We got to the point where there was 5k to go and put the hammer down.  I realised half way along this stretch that we were looking at finishing under 22hrs which spurred me on even more.  We slogged, grunted and got to the finish line together, Dion and I, in 21hrs 52min!!!  AMAZING!!!  I was STOKED!!!  An added little excitement was to find out later that I got 8th overall!  Incredible!  I was hooting and hollering at the finish line and felt amazing!

Pretty much sums up my
feelings of the day!
In the wash up and in hindsight, I really cant believe my race.  My quads had no pain at all and my calfs only the slightest amount!  I got my new Luna Sandals (Oso's) a few weeks before race day and they were awesome!  My feet had only minor soreness, felt free and loved it!  I HEART Luna Sandals so very much and once again they did the job!  Anyone who is looking at improving their running, having a lot of fun and freeing your feet, check out https://www.lunasandals.com

I went into the race with a goal of going under 24hrs and a secret goal of 22hrs.  I never thought I would go under 22!  All in all, it was a blessed, fun, ripper day...smiling the whole way!  I wanna thank those who helped me out in this race and always do!...my beautiful wife, daughter and family (Mum, Dad, Melinda, Ma) for supporting me.  Andy and Dion for being great company through the day.  Chris at the Mower Doctor in Bundy for continuing to support my running adventures and helping out a poor Uni Student!  Andrew at At One Foods.  Finally and certainly not the least, all the friends I have made through trail running, the new ones I meet, the ones who know me as the TattooRunner but I have no idea who they are, the smiling faces, the guy spewing on the side of the track, the smiles, the pain, the joy, the heartbreak....I love it all!  Thanks also to you for supporting and following my mad adventures and please know that I love and appreciate you all!  Keep loving life, spread the word and rip in!  Until next time...run free friends!!!

Special mention - Dad - first 100miler...and in under 24hrs.  Lee first 100miler whilst doing it rough, Andrew - first 100k after only doing his first marathon in July this year, Coach Jeff and Lori for doing their best, inspiring others but unfortunately not quite getting the job done this time round.  Jeff for finishing his first 100miler when his ankle looked like a softball at 60k!  My sis for doing another 50k and all the other newbies I met along the way!  Well done all, I love you all...Run Free, eat plants and get running!!!

Come on already!

Well, I have started writing this entry at 5:30am Sunday morning and by this time next week I will have completed my next race - 100miles through the Glasshouse Mountains (hopefully I would have actually finished a few hours ago but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves!)  I am super dooper excited for the weekend and challenges ahead and chomping at the bit to get going!

I have been building up to this race for a number of months now.  Apart from the week I had my little stack down the stairs, have been logging 100-160km per week consistently.  I have been recovering quickly (still logging over 100km the week after races), training well and the body is feeling great.  Mentally I am ready, and whilst I would like to be a few kg's lighter (always the way!), I really feel I am in the best shape for a race that I have ever been!  This is gonna be epic, its gonna be beautiful and its gonna be a ripper adventure!

My stella necklace...giving me
good vibes for next weekend!
This event is also going to see five of my friends attempting their first 100mile race.  Lori, Sammy, Lee, Coach Jeff and Dad are all getting amongst it this year.  Whilst I have my personal goals and will be pretty darn focused on the day of getting to that finish line as quickly as possible, the greatest joy I am going to experience is seeing and hearing about the journey my 100mile virgin friends are going to embark on.  It is something that they will never forget and to say that you have covered 161km on foot is a remarkable achievement!  I'll be thinking of you all heaps come race day and can't wait to get into it with you all!  Run free friends!

Today is also Fathers Day.  I am finishing this blog off Sunday afternoon and what an amazing day we have had.  As hard work that kids are, it is incredible how a single, simple act of love makes it all worth while.  I got some beautiful, very 'Mat' pre

sents which were so great but I think the most special gift I got was a pasta necklace with love hearts from Pria.  She gave it to me and said I could wear it while running and if I get hungry eat it to give me energy!  Talk about melting my heart... I truly am blessed to be the dad of two precious, one of a kind daughters and honoured to be the son of one of my best mates, the Boss, Stewy.  We had a special day as a family with a fantastic lunch and bush walk together...just a stella day!  Love y'all!

Let the long haired hippies unite!!
Your letting the team down Corle!
Anyways friends, I hope you are all smiling, loving life and keeping it real! Keep trying to live each day better than the one before, be kind to a stranger and make two seconds to do something to better yourself.  See you all soon for my 100mile race report.  GOLD!

I like big butts and I can not lie...

Wide Bay Fat Ass represent!  Today we took the trip to beautiful Hervey Bay for the second Wide Bay Fat Ass event!  For those living in the dark who still don't know what a Fat Ass run is after all my rott talk, they are un-organised, organised runs.  There is no entry fee's, no prizes but a heck of a good time!  Check out http://www.coolrunning.com.au/fatass/hq/index.php?title=Main_Page if ya wanna know more!  Anyway, back on track!

It was Dad, Mum, Tegs, Pria, Corlè and our good friend Nix who took the trip.  We stopped in one of our favourite little cafe's Enzos for a brew and snack.  We then headed to the start for some shenanigans before getting started.  It was an amazing day and we were all keen for some fun in the sun!  Mum was kind enough to look after the kids so Tegan and I could both run which was great!

We headed off for an easy first lap with some good laughs and a look at the course.  Andrew did a super job organising it with a figure eight type set up.  There was a fair chunk of the course on the beach and rocks.  That made things fairly tough going but added an interesting element to the day.  The rest of the track was through parkland, parks, footpath and a bit of trail. A top course.

I went into the day with the goal of doing 5-6hours, not really worrying about distance so much but just time on the feet.  We did our first two laps at a pretty quick speed which made things go by smoothly.  After this, things started to heat up a bit.  I did my third lap with Andrew and his young fella and was still at a pretty decent clip.

After this I was left on my own.  My legs felt pretty good but just had to mentally keep myself moving forward.  I think a combination of the sun and sand took it out of me a bit.  I keep moving but things were taking their toll.  I approached my fourth hour and decided I would be calling it quits after five hours.  I wanna have a decent week k's wise this week and didn't want to completely destroy myself!

I plugged on through the last hour and finished pretty done at five hours.  A super time out and just shy of 50k done.  Some huge highlights of the day were Tegan, Nix and Melissa running the furtherest that they have ever done, 24, 35km (not sure on your distance Melissa sorry...close to 25k??) respectfully.  Awesome work ladies!  Coach Jeff and his bride Deb also made the trip and although I have been scarred for life seeing him shirtless (just jokes brother!!!) it is always a enriching and blessing time seeing you both.

After some chats, tucker, drinks and good times, it was time to take off.  I just wanna thank my partner in Fat Ass crime Andrew for putting on a super top day!  It was such a great time and we loved every moment!  We have some cool stuff in the pipeline for the future so head on over to Facebook, send us a friend request on the Wide Bay's Fat Ass page and keep track on whats doing!

I hope this finds you all super dooper and lovin life!  Keep smiling and come on in and visit me at my new job at Nana's Pantry for some AMAZING tucker!  I have only worked two shifts but let me tell you I LOVE it!  Until next time my friends....live long, run on, plant strong!

Beauty in a being....plus a review.

Let me tell you about an amazingly beautiful, special woman I call my wife...Tegan.  I want to use today's blog to share a little about her recent journey and what an incredible transformation she has made.  So, just over five months ago, we had our second baby, little Corlè.  She has brought so much joy to us, but as expected, some extra weight for Tegan to carry around.

Tegs has always been a little erratic with her eating and exercise.  She didn't really eat regular meals and exercised on and off.  She was far from unhealthy, but like all of us, could do with some improving.  Until having Corlè.

I am not entirely sure what happened, but since bringing the precious little cargo into the world, Tegan has completely changed her existence and turned her life around for the better.  She has gone pretty much 95% plant based with me and is running/exercising on a regular basis.  She also just finishing the Cane 2 Coral 15km in a smart time.  The only way that I can really explain it is that it is almost like she has been on autopilot and now has just kicked into gear.

I have learnt a lot too over the last few months.  The first thing being you can not change someone, no matter how much you might want to, unless they are ready.  For someone to change their life, they need to come to a place where they are willing to make sacrifices, work hard and dig deep for their goals.  Tegs is just about at her initial goal weight, losing over 12kg, and is now to the point of re-assessing where she wants to sit weight wise.  Keeping on re-assessing the benchmark and goals is also important.

I have also learnt how amazing it is to have a wife be on the same page, health/diet wise.  Although Tegan hasn't ever made things difficult for me with my diet choices, it has been a little tough doing it on my own.  Now that she is sharing the journey with me, it is like my best friend is there to encourage, share, struggle and work hard to make our lives better each day.  It may be hard for some of you to understand, but when eating a plant based diet and really taking notice of what goes into your body, it is almost like creating a spiritual connection with food.  To be able to share that with Tegs has brought me personally to a new level of love and companionship with her.  I feel like we are connecting in ways that we never have in our over 10years of marriage and all elements of our lives are better for it.

I have always known it, but Tegan has also shown that if you really want to achieve something it really is not that hard.  I get so tired of hearing peoples excuses for them not doing what they say they are going to when all it takes is for them to have a bit of a go!  I know that my princess has become a real example to a lot of people now, especially women and she has done it all with class and little fuss.  She set a goal and is taking care of business...like a boss!

Another side of things in our lives that has really changed is how we are trying to bring up our kids, in all ways, but in particular with their diets.  It has become so apparent the damaging effects sugar, dairy and meat can have on their little bodies.  When Pria now eats these foods the difference is amazing!  We are doing what we can to steer her in the right direction of what we believe is the optimal way to eat.  Hopefully together we can help her to make her own good decisions in the long term.

So, overall, Tegan, you inspire me.  Your support in all I do, your friendship, your neverending love, your care and compassion run deep.  I am privileged and honored to be married to you and it has been a blessing to see you change and grow over the last couple of months.  I look forward to the journey we are embarking on with anticipation and can not wait to see what we can achieve and the level of health we can both reach.  Keep up the amazing work, I love you and think you are amazing!

Ok, I'm hearing, 'enough of the sap!'  Well sorry but it needed to be said!  Ha!

Lastly, I am gonna do a review of a new product that I have come across in the last couple of weeks.  I was put onto At One Foods by my friend Tylana.  I was told that one of the owners was an Ultra Runner and they were creating gluten free, vegan, raw bars...sounded perfect to fuel my long runs!  So, I got in touch with the owner Andrew, and immediately felt at ease and home.  He was all to happy to answer any questions that I had and share some information about their products.  After some further conversation, they offered to send me some samples of their products.  I received Cocoa and Incaberry, Apricot and Almond and Banana and Pecan (I think there was another flavor but I ate them!)  I have been using them in my long runs over the last couple of weeks and let me tell you they are the goods!  They taste beautiful, go down well, and give me some awesome sustenance, in a compact bar to keep me kicking over t he k's.  I strongly recommend them and although they are in the final stages of getting their commercial products out there, they have a market level product that are readily available.  If you contact Andrew at https://www.facebook.com/AtOneFoods I am sure that he will be more than happy to help you get your hands on some of their yummy nutritious bars.  Tell him I sent ya!  I hope to be able to organised something with this great company in the near future of how I can help promote a great business.  Below is a breakdown of nutritional info, pretty much the same across all of their bars.

Per serving size of 40g Energy 680kJ Protein 3.5g Total fat 6.7g (saturated 0.9g, unsaturated 5.8g, trans 0g) Carbs 19g (sugars 15g) Dietary fibre (4.3g) Sodium 18mg Potassium 310mg

So friends, with all that said, I am out of here!  With under four weeks until the miler things are getting very exciting!  I hope your all doing amazing and loving this beautiful sunshine we have had as of late!  I think you are all special, amazing and I can't wait to hear about any adventures you might be having!  Stay true friends, plant power, run free...TattooRunner

You did a PB by how much?!

So...Sunday just gone saw the Flinders Tour 50k trail run come around again.  Since last year when I ran 5hrs 32min (with about an extra 2k cause I took a wrong turn), I have been planning to have a dig and crack the 5hr 30min mark.  I ran pretty hard last year so there would be no mucking around this stint.

Tegan, the girls and I headed down on Saturday and had a nice stop off in Pomona before heading to our friends house where we would be staying in Tewantin.  We had a lovely afternoon/night just hanging out, relaxing and enjoying our friends company.  After a beautiful dinner and a nice nights sleep, I woke up Sunday ready and rearing to go.

We made our way down to Beerburrum School for the start.  After catching up with some old friends and meeting some new ones, we were off!

All along I had planned on getting into things from the start.  One has to start wondering though... I have been doing a minimum of 100-120km per week training for the last couple of months (appart from when I hurt my shoulder) and I felt underdone!  What the heck!?

As per usual, the first k's slid by without much effort.  I felt myself breathing at times but made sure that I stayed relaxed and composed.  About 4-5km in I slid in some mud, went down and took some skin off.  I dusted myself off quickly though and carried on.  I made a point of trying to catch a few people in front of me but being conscious not to push too hard.

I met a few cool people along the way, Kerry, Brad, Josh and a few others and had some good conversations along the way.  It is always a beautiful blessing to meet new people at ultras, hear their stories and share experiences with them over a few k's...kinda like what I imagine people go to the pub for...except healthy!  Anywho...As I am not wearing a Garmin these days, I had no idea how fast we were going and told all thoes around me that I didnt want to know!  I knew we were doing a decent clip though.

I saw the girls at about half way through the first loop and Pria had a bit of a run with me.  It warms my heart to know that she is out in nature and that I can set a good example for her doing what I love!  Love you kiddo, you make my heart smile!  My girls are the world to me and it is so so special having them take part in what is otherwise an individual sport.

Before long we reached Mt Beerburrum and I went up and down without any drama.  I arrived back at the school after 27km, including the mountain in 2hr 22min...I knew then that things were going well, and speedy!  After a quick aid station, I grabed some refills and was off again.

I cruised along pretty well for about the next 40min and then started to feel the pinch a little.  I power hiked a few hills but was still keeping a good pace.  In one beautiful section of single track, I tried to have some Raw Bar and nearly had a spew.  I didnt finish it thought 'oh well mate' and plugged on forward.

This race is the first time that I have actually felt like I was racing.  I know that sounds wierd as I have now done like 15 or something ultras and over 10 marathons, but this day I actually felt like I was racing....constantlly checking who was around me, in front and behind.  I tried to remind myself often though that it didn't matter, I was running my own race and couldnt help what anyone else was doing.  I pushed on as hard as I could.

I arrived at aid station 4A where Russ, a mate I know, told me it was about 6k to the finish.  I looked at my watch and though I could make it in under 4hrs 30min!!! What the heck?!  Well Russ...you lied!  Ha!  It was further than 6k but I still pushed on as best I could, including another stack.  I almost caught another 50k runner in front of me but just didnt have the legs to keep with him. Cheeky bugger!

As I approached the finish, I was done.  I had given my all and I was toast!  I ran to the finish line in a time of 4hrs 40min.  I couldnt believe it!  A PB of over 52minutes!  I was unable to celebrate straight away though as I was in all sorts.  I had pins and needles in my head, hands and feet and didnt know what I was doing.  I sat with my head under a tap for a while, layed down and tried to get myself together.  It proably took a good 15-20min before I started to feel any sort of normal again.  Once that happened, I was able to chat with some friends, meet some new people, spread the love about my beloved Luna Sandals (www.lunasandals.com) and generally have a good time telling war stories!

The trail ultra running crew that come to races at the Glasshouse events warm my heart!  I have met some incredible and inspiring people there and value every second I get to spend with them, even if it is only brief during post race madness.  Well done to Sammy, Chris, Marina, Sievland, Dad, John, Katie, Belinda, Scott and any other friends I have forgotten!

As per usual, I just want to give a big shout out to Chris at the Mower Doctor for sponsoring my race and helping me along the way!  I am a shameless self promotor so if anyone else is interested in sponsoring me in my endeavours feel free to drop me a line at grills_1@hotmail.com

A couple of days post race I am still a bit sore but have done a couple of short runs.  I plan on resuming normal training tomorrow as it is only six and a half weeks till the 100miler!  I am super super pumped and excited for it and cant wait to hook in!  Another thing I am really pumped about is that I have abour 5-6 friends doing their first miler!!!  To see them get to the finish line will be far more satisfying than any personal accomplishments I might achieve.

I hope and pray this finds you well friends.  There are a heap of cool and exciting things in the pipeline for me and I cant wait to share them with you over the coming weeks!  Keep smiling bothers and sisters, run free, eat plants and peace out!  TattooRunner

Set yourself some!

'A man without a goal is like the wind...blowing aimlessly, affecting surroundings but with no purpose.'  Mat GRILLS

So, I made up a quote!  Look at me go!  Ha!  Anyways, I wanna talk about goals.  Weather you are a sports person or not, goals in life are so very important and tend to give us a specific sense of direction and purpose.

Back when I used to work at a bank (HA!!) they had a saying... 'It is better to aim high and fail than to aim low and achieve.'  Now while this may sound a little negative, I have always looked at it as a really positive way to look at life.  Anyone can achieve something within their reach and easy but it takes guts, determination and boldness to set a big goal and fall on your face if it dosen't work out!

Goals can come in all shapes and sizes.  Big, small, short term, long term.  I believe that they are integral to keep us trying to improve the people that we are and to have a positive influence on those around us.  I always dream big and set my goals high.  I think they need to be specific and generally ones with an end point helps us keep focused.  Do I always achieve them, no way, but does that mean I give up trying and setting myself new ones, hell no!

Those who know me know that I believe that we should try and live each day better than the one before.  I think goals, and lofty ones at that help us do this by inspiring people around us, keeping us motivated and looking forward while focusing on each moment that is needed to achieve our purpose.

I am generally a visual person and also think it helps with accountability writing things down.  It makes what we are trying to do tangible and real.  It is a reminder of the dream and keeps us on track.  Telling others in our circle of friends can also help.  It puts a gentle pressure on when things get hard and gives us people to celebrate with when we achieve.

So, whats the message...I challenge you to set yourself some goals.  Short term and long term.  They can be about anything...weight loss, sport, business, family...get creative, dream big and you never know what you might achieve....probably something you thought you could never do!  It will not be easy and you will need to persevere but as I always say, nothing worth while in life comes easy!

Have a super weekend kids and Ill chat to you after kicking my butt at Flinders Tour 50k this weekend!  Peace, plants!

MIA...on more than one level!

What up friends!?  Long time no write!  Lets just say that things have been ridiculous since being back at uni, I have barley had time to scratch myself, let alone blog!  In saying that, I am going to be making a conscious effort to try and post weekly going forward!  I now have a shiny new lap top and can catch y'all up on my breaks at work.  Good times!

So, what the heck?!  Life is good!  Uni is going along at a million miles an hour and I feel like no matter how much I do, I am still miles behind!  First term went well and I need to keep my head down for another 9-10weeks till a nice break over Christmas.  I am really enjoying it and learning so so much...it is just incredibly time consuming.  I have resolved myself to the fact that Uni terms go...study, run, work a little, see my family a little, the end!  I know it will all be worth it in the end though!

Running wise, things have been ticking over nicely.  Since my little shoulder injury, I have been doing pretty much 100-160k per week.  It is crazy times though, as doing 10hours a week running these days feels like I am bludging and doing nothing!  What is wrong with me!

Race wise I have Flinders tour in a week.  Then Glasshouse 100miler seven weeks after that.  I have been putting in solid ground work for that race and have pretty lofty goals.  It will be an awesome day out and one I am really looking forward to!  After that I'm not 100% sure yet, however I am pretty sure I am going to apply for Coast to Kosi.  It is a 240km run from the coast at Sydney to the top of Mt Kosioskou!  Should be an epic adventure and one that scares the life out of me right now!  Lets see what happens!

Family wise, all is well and the girls are growing up so so fast!  Tegan is losing weight like nobodies business and really embraced her new healthy lifestyle!  She looks amazing and is running like a champion!  So proud of all my ladies!  Life is good!

As a last little catch up, I have dragged myself away from Facebook and Instagram!  I have had so much more productive time it is not even funny!  The only reason I will be on Facey is to post my blogs...for a while anyway!  Lets see how it goes!  I do miss all my running buddies from away though, so I think Ill be back at some stage...just not yet!  So if you want to reach me, drop me a text, phone call or email at grills_1@hotmail.com.

Well friends, this has just been a snappy catch up blog and next week I will come back with something of substance!  Thanks for sticking by me, I hope you are still enjoying reading my ramblings and if you are...tell your friends!  Stay true, love always and until next time...run free!
